New challenges, Bigtwin Motormagazine
Besides running this shop, trying to build cool bikes and maintaining my family I’ve come up with something new. I recently started as a freelance reporter for a well known magazine here in the Netherlands. Bigtwin Motor magazine. The magazine is about the custom culture in the Netherlands. Ranging from die hard choppers to Cafe racers and from trustworthy American steel through Italian design.
My first official assignment was a contribution about the Flanders Chopperbash. I’m very proud to say that you can find my 6 page contribution in Bigtwin nr. 371.
Besides this I also got the change to test several 2017 Harley models. The one that was the most fun to do was road testing a CVO Streetglide. A 108cu monster with a shitload of options like GPS, ABS and a music installation that is loud enough to give a private dance party. If all goes to plan this feature will be in the fall special. I’ve also teste three of the new Sportster models. A Iron, the 48 and the Roadster. While the roadster was the most fun to ride the 48 got the price for best looks. Where does this leave the Iron? A perfect bike for riding in the city or when you’re just getting started. This feature will also be in the fall special.
I’ve got a few more features I’m working on but more about that later. First a little sneak peak of my contributions so far.
