Sam’s Chopper, Phase 2
Sam’s Chopper, Phase 2
After a few months of brainstorming, planning, testing and with a lot of help from Google, Sam finally came up with a gameplan for his Sporty.
He allready tried a possible paint schem for his new and smaller gas tank and purchased a new ‘clean’ fender to replace the stock one.
After some maintenance we testfitted the new gas tank in it’s final postion, removed the shocks to determine how low the bike should be and we test-fitted the new fender to see how short it should be.
The gastank wil be raised 2″in the front to get a more constant line form the handlebars to the fender. The shocks will be 10,5″ so it will be a little lower than on the pictures to keep the gap between tire and fender as narrow as possible. The fender probably wille be this lengt and the bulky stock seat will be replaced by a smaller version to maintain the lines.
A lot more to do before the deadline, this years Flanders Chopper Bash….
