Sissy bar bender 1.0
Made myself a little sissy bar bender from some scrap metal. It still looks like s##t but it does the trick.Still needs some fine tuning and a cosmetic tune-up but pretty happy so far.
It bends up to 12mm ( 1/2″ ) solid steel rod so I can start bending my own sissy-bar. If this works out well I will also start building sissy-bar kits for all the homebuilders out there.
Also made some progress on the DIY JD2 Tube bender. Metal work is almost done, all the holes are (pre) drilled, ratchet needs some fine tuning and my old man fabricated all the pins to hold the dies. As soon as this is finished I can start fabricating handlebars, frame-loops etc.
